How To Dawdle

Dawdle works on a very simple premise: buyers tell us what they want and sellers tell us what they have. Dawdle does everything else: we match buyers and sellers, charging your credit card automatically so you can get your stuff quicker. The best part - if you're a buyer and tell us what you want on a Tuesday, we can match you with a seller who lists that item on the next Thursday. That means you can get exactly what you were looking for without having to look for it. Of course, you can always Get It Now or Sell It Now if the price is right. It's a quicker, more relaxed way to buy and sell online, so you can get back to what's important: playing games.

Use the search, Luke!

The best way to find what you're looking for on Dawdle is to use the search bar. We've done our best to make it as easy to search as possible, but here are some tips:

Generally, whatever you do on Google should work here. That said, do your best to spell things correctly. We don't have a spell check built in - yet.

You can also use the tags on the search result pages to create all sorts of filters to make it easier to find the stuff that you want - if you want to just look at Role Playing Games made by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2, you can do that easily.

Once you've found what you're looking for, click on the thumbnail or title to go to the Product Page.

Product Pages

The Dawdle Product Page is where all the action is: you can get a description, see the publisher/developer/manufacturer, and find everything else you need to make sure this is the item you want or have. From here, you can place a bid to buy or make a listing to sell your item.

Buying an Item

Dawdle allows you to buy quickly and easily. All you have to do is select the criteria for the item you want. We'll show you all the in-stock items that match your minimum criteria. You can choose to Get It Now and just wait for it to come in the mail. Or, if it's not in stock, or you want to pay a lower price, you can Make a Bid.

On Dawdle, when you place a bid, we share your bid with our seller partners around the country. We look to find someone that has what you want, and when we find one, you get to buy it automatically!

Because we continually look for matches, you don't have to wait until your bid expires to buy an item; as soon as we find a match for you, you've purchased the item and the seller has been notified to ship it to you.

This allows you to find what you want without having to search through a ton of listings or pay inflated prices. It's as simple as just telling Dawdle what you want and letting us do the rest.

Selling Your Stuff

Dawdle allows you to make a listing in as little as five seconds (less, if you're good with the Tab button). You have two ways to create a listing: you can go to the product page for the item you have and click List Yours.

If there's a bid in the system for that item, you'll also see a button to Sell It Now. If your item includes what the bidder is looking for, at the condition she wants, you can sell it immediately at his price.

Either process will let you put the items you have to list into a cart, so you only have to go through the listing process once, no matter how many items you want to list.
