Professional Selling on Dawdle
If you're a store or a professional seller specializing in video games, systems, and accessories, Dawdle has special tools for you! In addition to free listings, free online storefronts, and free credit card processing, professional sellers get the ability to list items under their store name, FTP upload and download privileges, access to a list of all StandingOffers upon request, and priority customer service, including phone support.
To get started, you need to list one item by hand. This allows us to capture all of your store's information without having to give us your credit card over the phone or via e-mail. Here's a step-by-step guide to getting all set up to sell on Dawdle:
- Create an account on Dawdle.com. Use a generic e-mail address, such as sales@yourstore.com. This e-mail address will be provided to every buyer that buys something from you. Also, please register with the name of the responsible party for the store account in the first name and last name fields. This will make communication easier between Dawdle and your store. You can change this person's name in the MyDawdle section at any time.
- List one item by hand on the Dawdle.com website. You'll want to have a corporate credit card handy for authentication and a PayPal e-mail address so that Dawdle can send you your proceeds when your items sell.
- E-mail the Listing Confirmation e-mail message that you receive to pros@dawdle.com to tell us the Store Name you want us to display across the site and in all e-mails that go out to buyers. You can also request your FTP credentials if you wish to use FillZ, Wolf Track Software, or Extreme POS.
- List your inventory for free, get your free online storefront, and take advantage of our free credit card processing for selling the inventory you have right in your store without taking it off your shelves on Dawdle.com!
That's it! You're all set up and ready to go. You can list hundreds of items in just a couple of hours through our Selling Cart or thousands of items using your own FTP program, FillZ, Wolf Track Software, or Extreme POS. You may wish to set up your store's free branded storefront and direct your in-store and online traffic there so that you can sell directly to your own buyers.
